To build the model, BlueCheck tapped its vast network to identify local aid organizations; it developed partnerships with Ropes & Gray and Integrity Risk International to verify the groups’ legitimacy; and then it fast-tracked funds to the approved entities. Over two years, BlueCheck raised and distributed more than $4.5 million to 30 frontline organizations that had sprung up to provide food and water, shelter, medical equipment and services, psychological support, and more.
